Janine King was born in raised in Calgary, Alberta and now lives in Vancouver, BC as a music educator, trombonist and avid lover of the outdoors.

 

As for many, the COVID-19 pandemic allowed the time for Janine to embark on a creative journey with painting, somewhat of a comeback story after an art teacher from her youth had chastised her for using lines and vibrant colours in her landscapes.

 

“you&you” - inspired by the tiny apartment where this small business came to life - is a celebration of possibilities, creativity, and the little wonders of the world around us.
